A beautiful limerick! It states a truth! If we are waiting for something or somebody, the longer the wait, the greater becomes the annoyance in us....!

This poem resonates with me. Waiting is tedious. It eats our time. If two persons agreed upon with the time to meet, it must be followed strictly so as not to waste time. A wonderful reflection...A fascinating limerick

Yes, no one likes to wait, for, it is viewed as waste of time. But then that is what we do all life. We wait to grow up to do this and that, and joys of childhood slip from our hands; we wait to earn more to buy this and that and forget to enjoy youth; let me retire and I will tour this place and that, and by that time our limbs are not strong enough to go to all those places we once wanted to.... This simple limerick brings in to bear all these thoughts.
