Visions of birds
giant grey
floating
-flying
with open wings
across the heavens
spans of wins immense
Like WINGS OUTSPREAD this a poem celebrating what D. H. Lawrence called A PURE SINGLE ACTIVITY, a total focus on action, no thought only A-C-T N-O-W. It may be similar to what Zen Buddhists advocate, for whom meditation is action not thinking.
With open wings! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.

This is simply and forcefully a recognition of the wonder of BIRDS without a trace of human vanity or superiority. Flight as birds do it is a glory of Nature in Earth, and as residents of the Planet we share that glory. Everything about them is part of their being, but it strikes us as miraculous that they can f-l-y! !
