Utopian Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Utopian

Utopian colony has a killer
Fallen from beryl loftiness
Wormwood and dragon art
The idealist has an army

In the gallery hangs souls
Captured in indigo freedom
Rueful choice of enlightenment
The squalor of death hidden

Walk the sterile hallways
Kafka stares like a ghost
They imprison Dostoevsky
Quiet cubicles have many names

The new inquisition arrives
Purloined sea of shed blood
Out of sight the dungeon
Image of the beast man

Utopian killer risqué as a knife
