Upon Your Death Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Upon Your Death

I may miss you forever
And shall forget never
You were tower of strength
And my strong faith

I knew you will stand by
And always try
To take me out of wood
As you have fully understood

It shall be painful
As I feel in rainfall
It does not give me coolness
But bring only sadness

You were excellent caretaker
And pain bearer
You never complained how you faced
But always kept within and smiled

I heard you are gone
To next land called heaven
My heart misses beats
I rush to greet

Many are laying wreaths
Upon your death
I take deep breathe
And place flower underneath

Upon Your Death
