Untitled I Poem by Sierra Staten

Untitled I

Be wary! The utopia in you dreams is never a reality,
The things we seek are true to neither ourselves nor our minds.
We allow ourselves to desire what other want-
To crave what others need,
Creating a mass ocean of duplicates and copies of one person.
A person truly unknown to the world
Yet all the characteristics are present among us.
Searching deeper is out of question
As we have eliminated the ability for deeper to exist.
We've only deceived ourselves.
