Unreciprocated Love Poem by Holly Moon

Unreciprocated Love

My heart is overwhealmed
Tears flow down it's wall
Every time I think of you
When we're apart

My heart weeps
For thinking of thee
The hopelessness I feel
Because you fail to appreciate me

I cannot bear to think
I avoid thought most of the time
But somehow thoughts of you
Break through all the time

I'm happy and carefree
For the seconds I get through life without thinking of thee
But as soon as that thought breaks through
How you're away from me

A sadness so deep
Overtakes me

I hope you never love
Someone who doesn't love you back
It's torture and hopelessness
Believe me.
