'Unity, Faith And Discipline: Pakistan's Flag Unfurled' Poem by Dr Shamim Ali

'Unity, Faith And Discipline: Pakistan's Flag Unfurled'

On the 14th of August, a day so grand,
A nation's dream, a free homeland.
Pakistan's Independence Day, we cheer,
With hearts united, we hold dear.

A vision cast by Iqbal's profound thought,
In the hearts of Pakistanis, it was caught.
With Quaid-e-Azam's leadership so true,
A dream turned into a reality to pursue.

Allama Iqbal, the poet so wise,
A dreamer whose words reached the skies.
He envisioned a land where hearts are free,
With faith as the beacon, for all to see.

Quaid-e-Azam, the leader so strong,
Guided the nation, stood tall and long.
Through trials and hardships, he led the way,
Uniting a nation to seize the day.

In the struggle for freedom, they did stand,
Hand in hand, for their motherland.
With passion and courage, they did strive,
Together they made freedom alive.

In the land of Pakistan, a nation's birth,
With unity, they proved their worth.
From mountains high to rivers wide,
The spirit of freedom filled every stride.

On this Independence Day, we celebrate,
With love and pride, we commemorate.
The dream of Iqbal, the vision so clear,
In Quaid-e-Azam's footsteps, we hold dear.

So let's remember those who fought,
For the freedom that was dearly sought.
Pakistan, our homeland, forever strong,
In our hearts, you will always belong.
