Two Lonely Hearts Poem by Robert Peacock

Two Lonely Hearts

We Have Gathered Together
On This Joyous Day
To Join Together
Two Hearts Astray

Two Lonely Vessels
In Eternal Dark
Igniting Together
To Form A Spark

A Spark Which Lights
God's Give Of Life
When A Man And A Woman
Become Husband And Wife

When Two Empty Souls
Converge Into One
And Find A New Beginning
Like The Rising Sun

When Two Separate Minds
Unify Together
Riding Out The Storm
No Matter What The Weather

When Parents And Grandparents
Sit Proudly And Smile
Remembering The Day
They Walked Down The Aisle

So Ring The Church Bell
Today For Another
Two Lonely Hearts
That Have Found Each Other
