Two Hundred On Poemhunter And Still Going! ! ! Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

Just recently I reached a two hundred
Posting poems and thoughts on a site I am also a kindred
Poems of deep feelings meant to share joy
Thoughts of reasons that cannot be used as toy
My time and space now get maximum use
This site had easily turned me on and connected to my fuse
Those other works I read are major tonic
They projected me like a supersonic
Now I live a life more purposeful
Never thought this fellowship would be wonderful
I am enjoying every second and minute of it
And I just do not want to leave it
To my poet friends sharing their poems on Poemhunter
I swear you have all made me this hunter
Let this continue as I do not want to stop
I just do not want to get to the full stop
The thoughts and reasons are all whirling round my head
I feel I want to tie a cloth to stick them to my head
It is going to be sad to let them slip away
Oh no! I really want them to stay
Whatever it takes for me to do that
I can go all the miles to achieve that
After these posts getting to the two centuries mark
I will continue and not desire to take a bark
