Two Baldy Ladies Poem by Neela Nath Das

Two Baldy Ladies

Rating: 5.0

Two baldy ladies sitting
Beside me were cracking jokes
On the complexion of
Another lady they know.
They are fair but have lost
Their hair and fairness of mind.
If they had not criticized the
Black lady, perhaps their
Ugliness of mind and body
Were my eyes' behind.

well written....vivid is the complexion of the inhibition in the society... we don't embrace to truth, try to circumvent........
