True Sweetness Poem by Bree Z Love

True Sweetness

Rating: 5.0

Basking in true sweetness
from the hand that removes all bitterness;
Yes, my mouth opens; so wide
for the pouring of the honey with no pride.
Feeling like it's breathing for the first time.
Needing no warning for the trusted arms of a mother's caress.
Nevertheless; the father's eyes sees within an opening of greatness.
My honey dripped skin; I surge for boldness.
I had risen from the distasteful mudding phase
with a delectable sweeten taste.
A promise kept.
Removed debt,
ofa woman's pain due to labored work.
He extracted honey; a sweet treat for those hurt.
It's tasting time; the succulent phase.
So favoring, I am glad it came.
I hold no shame.
In indulgence.
No shame of my selfish decadence.
