Thoughts Poem by Nancy L Cohen

Thoughts

My fingers can do nothing more then what they are doing now.
They can’t move as fast as my mind would want them too!
As i tell my fingers what to do it is disturbing.
How can you feel so much love and sadness at the same time?
Love for the new life ahead.
Sadness for the one that is ending.
The one that is supposed to be,
will be.
I give myself to it completely and will accept what ever may be,
happily
The rain pours as fast as my thoughts.
They say so much but yet not a word is spoken.
One day all will be said.

'My fingers can do nothing more then what they are doing now. They can’t move as fast as my mind would want them too! ' Yes, it is true. There is a song, one can tame a wild tiger, can walk on water, can control even a tough woman, but not the thoughts. There is a chain btween a thought and the destiny like this. A thought leads to a desire, a desire leads to an action, an action leads to a habit, a habit leads to a character and a character leads to a destiny. So, the destiny takes shape according to the lines of one's good or bad thoughts.
