Thought Is Shot Poem by Abderrahmane Dakir

Thought Is Shot

Chimps use sticks to find and eat food.
Dolphins trap fish by making rings of mud.

Our thought is not the main differentiator.
The use of tools was thought to be major.

Prairie dogs are capable of complex communication,
How many efforts we have to perform a new creation.

Thought is not something we always enjoy,
With no Tv, no Smartphone we lose the joy.

We have become so used to stimulation,
We have addicted more to distraction,
How our mind can focus on a new creation.
