This Poem Is Written/As The Music Plays In Me
This poem is written
As the music plays in me,
And I hear the lifting of my spirit
And know
that there is life
in life and above life-
a beauty which we can be and hear
a music which we are
and know and love
a dream a song
what we are truly
at the best
when we are the music
and the music plays in us
and we are lifted
higher and higher and higher-
oh God thank You
for the music and the songs.
