Think Akin - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Think Akin - Lincoln Park Zoo

Two crowned lemurs, Dad and son, do
Keep close watch on a keeper near
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
To check out why the keeper's here.
Could the keeper visit mean that
Good stuff to eat is on the way
To the crowned lemur habitat,
Always a highlight of the day!
Great expectations are shared by
Dad and son as they both do stare
At the keeper with eager eye
For tasty morsels they may share.

There's disappointment 'twixt and 'tween.
Shucks - the keeper's just here to clean.
