They Plant My Roses In Their Shade

They plant my roses in their shade
And think that I am in a maze
And cannot see above the hedgerows
But the heart knows what it knows
I know the plantings of my rose
Upon my holy palm it grows
In prescience only I can recognize
And I know what we plant we sow
We cannot reap another's woe
Or joy.
And if we live by subterfuge
And using others in a ruse
The counterfeit angels cannot, will not
Save the garden.
