There Once Was A Sonnet
There once was a sonnet
it sang every night from the depths
of the weeping willow tree
down by the quiet and motionless lake
frosted by the moonlight.
This sonnet it yearned for its lady love
and heaved its lonely deep sighs
from just about every line.
