The Two Sides Of A Coin Poem by Priyanka Bhowmick

The Two Sides Of A Coin

Rating: 4.5

He cannot comprehend
The 4-letter word
But what he perceives
Only the letters
Some jumbled, some tangled
The letter ‘L'
He grasps it upside down
And catches ‘7' in it
As I debate, he rejects my claim
And says, "That not ‘O', that's ‘0'".
I mutely gaze at him
But somehow he is precise in his own way.
The perception he follows
Is what he could see

Every coinage has 2 sides
The one I see, the one they see
But the true side is only one
That delivers the question
‘Did you hold the right choice?
Or Did I convey it? '
As both cannot be right
One needs to surrender his choice
And change his discernment
