The Tongue
The tongue
Can utter sweet words
Of love and affection
Of praise and gratitude
To fill the mind.
The same tongue
Can become a sharp knife
Of cutting with words crude
Without drawing blood
To kill the mind.
Tongue allows one to enjoy different tastes to enjoy food. But we must control it about what it does to others through voice and language it creates. Even a wound afflicted by a sword may heal but damage due to the tongue may not heal. Beautifully said in a few words of wisdom.
Yes words can cut and words can heal! Tongue if properly and wisely used can conquer and build! If carelessly used can damage and destroy! Nice write! !
