Like the distant hill
Kings look blue.
Round, symmetric, shapy,
complete, ruff and tuff
revered and full of hue.
Through the windows of
transparent glamourous panes.
The king could see all-
none could see his mind
or heart, nor who else there reigns.
Royal was his robes,
as much loyal were His men,
nobody had a wish
none there had a complain
as if pleasure rained away pain.
The king was shaved fair,
clean and bright his looks.
Who can imagine things
improper, that the state He rules
fits for most beggars, in the Guineas Book?
Like the distant hill Kings look blue. Round, symmetric, shapy, complete, ruff and tuff revered and full of hue. Yes the fake appearances of kings don't help. Nicly penned. 10++++
The king was shaved fair, clean and bright his looks. Who can imagine things improper, that the state He rules fits for most beggars, in the Guineas Book? The royal life has little to do with the sufferings of his people. Nicely penned. 10++++
