The Shopper Poem by Casey Renee Kiser / snail viXen

The Shopper

Lots of gates
Lots of stone on guard
Lots of cut-off potential
You went shopping at the graveyard

Lots of spook
Lots of business to discard
Lots of light from an unsympathetic moon
You went shopping at the graveyard

Lots of mornings held captive
Lots of fairy tales barred
Lots of souls on sale
You went shopping at the graveyard
