The Seamiest Life Poem by Onwuasoanya FCC Jones

The Seamiest Life

Oh! How often I wonder:
Who can change their thoughts?
How desperately I long:
The cleansing of those scuzzy minds:
The minds that only think:
A little bread and longer sleep,
And the world gets cozy.
The minds that think:
Irresponsible chats and longer gossips,
Then companionship is great.
A life without dreams,
A life without ambitions,
A life without fervour,
A life without service,
A life without service,
A life without a legacy,
A life devoid of inventions,
Guilty of a very grime crime,
They live a seamy life!
Deadlier than a plunge into a lagoon,
A life not at all lived is better than a life lived this way.
