The Sand Grains Poem by Parameswaran Nair Damodaran Nair

The Sand Grains

Rating: 5.0

The setting sun in the western horizon
Paints pictures of modern art in colours
Matching much to my soulful dreams

Waves, a cavalry of stallions gallop ashore
Guards of this grand heritage in rebellion
Retaliate and foil the cavalry's mission,

Invincible might of the sand grains' unity
And their valour and patriotic dedication
The heaven felicitates lighting candles above

Afar, from the land of winged horses
As You hail and turn to a legion of Pegasus
And gallop ashore in conquering craze

I crave saddling you, you wild stallions
And to enjoy the bliss of a ride on your back
As you advance in sheer pomp and pride.

Yes, we must never overlook anything. No matter how small, all are created for a purpose.
