The Sad Story Of A Poetess….
Sylvia who she was?
what was she doing
when she left earth?
Has she left our world?
Yes, she has left earth
in a moment of tad pause
her heart was broken
her insides too
and she was broke
she disipiated
at the age of thirty
left a toddler girl
and a babyson
her greatest love
had gone
out of her sight
out of her life
with another
younger wife
it was not bliss
with that bigamist
North American born and bred
English poetess
primary zest
eight-year-old half-orphan
than with
sweet seventeen
she met
world famous Ted
they wed
honeymoon in between
UK and Southern France
in that time
the happiest couple
sublime
but
all so transparent
despite her great happiness
constantly onpeek in the morrow
much woe, melancholy
and greatest sorrow
completely lost her happiness!
since for her cozy home
and hearth
in the deepest winter
not a cent
to light the fire
she put her children
deepest under
double blanket
she left her lovely children behind
like a good mother did
well fed
but big
fret
then comes the elephant
with the large muzzle
blows out all the stories-puzzle....

Poet's Note:
About Sylvia Plath's life in short story
Sad indeed. At first I thought you were talking about yourself! I will have to read more about Sylvia Plath!
A sad story-poem about the late great poetess Sylvia Plath, c.u.m. laude graduated from Cambridge University married with the world famous poet Ted Hughes, english poet, but as in most marriages, two most intelligent people have no match with each other. All the poems by Mrs. Plath are autobiographical poems. Truly a very sad story if she ended her life with suicide.
A heartbreaking tale, written with feeling, eloquence and compassion.
This poem expresses your deepest grief with amazing notion in emotional mood. May Soul rest in peace. An amazing poem is brilliantly penned...10
A marvelous poem beautifully crafted. The presentation by the great Poetess of the life story of a great talent is excellent and clearly conveyed. Liked the ultimate stanza. To my Poem List.
A beautiful story of life with a meaningful message. A lesson in life that we must put in heart and mind. Depression is a sickness that can take our own life and consequently hurt our loved ones. We must give and show more love to someone who is afflicted with this sickness.
A deeply poignant and moving poem. It is hard to imagine that a Poetess with great talent and young children can take her life in an instant. Life's pains and sufferings can cover our heart, mind and soul with darkness. The ability to conquer the evils in the mind is love of oneself and the love of our dear and near ones.
Thanks for throwing light on the life of Sylvia Plath through this beautiful poem!
