The Positive Tree
It's a mango grove
Full of mango trees
The mango trees
Full of mangoes ripe!
Amidst all the trees ripe
There stood a tree
Full of leaves
But not even a fruit!
The red faced, remorseful Mango tree
Desired to shake off all the leaves
Of no use and no fruits
And wailed in the torrid day!
Then settled with endurance
And stood with patience
Not a grumble, not a complaint
Not a sigh, but with a smile!
Thanked the Sunlight
Thanked the soil
Thanked the moisture
Thanked the Saviour!
Stood with courage
For many long days
Long days of penance
Wishing for a fruit!
An amazing day that it broke
Happy leaves turned to fruits
The tree that stood positive
The tree, full of fruits! !
