The Poet And His Muse Poem by Tauhi_d O

The Poet And His Muse

Poet: There is this pretty cute lovely lady i know
Muse: Pretty but cold hearted like a snow
Poet: Like an avalanche she made my feelings fall in tow
Muse: I bet she has the most beautiful set of toes
Poet: Lovely toes? Wow can she bring it up or i need to go low
Muse: She's willing to bring it up if you can go with the flow
Poet: Then i need to touch her soul and scribble my name on it
Muse: sounds nice but, After all you put her through I bet she'd prefer you in a pit
Poet: oh no! She wouldn't do that! ! Her soul is innocent, her heart is pure and thats not a myth
Muse: Perhaps you two could make a perfect fit
Poet: Oh my world, this angel is indeed a gift
Muse: I bet without battling an eyelid you'd give her a lift
Poet: Facts only! ! Before today, I've never Let the current of emotions take me
Muse: And when I choose to live in each moment as they come, some sweet feelings take over me
Poet: I'd let those sweet feelings smooth my Skin into what it could be.
Muse: How romantic can you be
Poet: So romantic I'd be so addicted to holding you in my arms
Muse: If wishes were horses I should be all wrapped up right now in your arms
Poet: Instantly i find myself longing for the scent of you and wishing you were here
Muse: the Feelings is so mutual she'd have you around but the virus wont let you be here
Poet: i feel like the best is yet to come and with my heart on my sleeve, i hope you can see it beats like a drum
Muse: Oh! I could dance all day to the rhythm of your heart makes me wonder where the hell you came from
Poet: Your words tonight soothes the ache of many years And I wonder how many waves are made from my fallen tears.
Muse: The best of those words are yet to come as we scratch the surface, i foresee the flow of joyous tears
Poet: I will forever remember these beautiful words and deep brown eyes, That you thought were so plain and forever revel in them.
