The Onlookers' Delight Poem by Indira Renganathan

The Onlookers' Delight

Rating: 5.0

Is it the lotus gazing at the sun
Or the other way; or the bee buzzing
Hovering upon the rose as if rose likes it

It looks as if all the movie love scenes
Running in their minds exchanged through their eyes
while their hearts singing the movies' love melodies

They both're gazing at each other for long
Their fixed looks speak to each other's wide eyes
People around in that park too waiting for long

He and she don't seem to say no or yes
Impatient, one old lady from that crowd
Screams 'propose, propose'...Laughing the crowd disperses

Sometimes events such happen in real life
Proving true love stories without endings
But here it's a movie shooting those two to strive
