The Night Opens Up Wide Poem by Kyle Schlicher

The Night Opens Up Wide

The night opens up wide.

I walk inside,
it swallows me whole
the moon is there,
I am not alone.

The lights travel thru the darkness.

I can see the other side of the bridge.
Now, it is safe for me to cross over.

I have arrived safely
and in one piece.

Now, my journey begins
and the story can unfold.
