The New Order Poem by Sammy Aswani Luyove

The New Order

New Order

On this first day of stay on my other side of a new age,
I have decided that you I may engage,
With slight tingle in your head about what's on stage,
To unblind you with invisible yet binding bandage,
The yoke of neopatrimonialism.

Apology;
I didn't make sense to you,
Neither did I to me,
I don't understand too,
But the Citizen does,
He chose it on the ballot
So it's a new order:
Everything hops on its head!
And the legs wave the sky
It's a new order.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When an authority misrules, the electorate suffers the pinch of it's excesses.
