The Nest Of Calm Poem by Shelvakumari Thachayil

The Nest Of Calm

I wish to live in an imaginary nest of mine
If you are my best friend ever
Where alive different types of your images
The scene of the morning will abolish my worries
Then you wear the crown of my soul
Sometime I pretend to be what I am not
Then I have so much love to share which
More than any soul should bear
Because you are so spectacular
The one I haven't met yet
I remember your eyes in the darkness
It looked me when I sleep
Then it becomes the essence of my dreams
When my imagination had returned
Bringing all my memories floating in the air
I feel the lightness of feather
Laying down with dreaming of rain
In my day dreams you are dancing with joy
Stay there with the light of calm.
