The Myths Of Dilip Chitre Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Myths Of Dilip Chitre

The myths of modernity
And urbanity,
A world travelled
And toured,
The olden myths
Of Soviet Union,
Kiev visited
As a writer
During
An exchange programme,
Bhopal seen,
Bombay ruminated.

A poet of the commuter father
Always travelling,
The old banyan tree cut
For the new mansion,
The son's hazy memory,
The beaches of Bombay
And the cities and towns
Visited and re-visited,
He takes a note of
All that
With the passing comments of own
To be transmuted as poesy
Revealing, divulging
The truths of life.
