The Moon And The Madman Poem by Rigzin Namgyal

The Moon And The Madman

Your love gives me wings
And I gallop towards you
Piercing the clouds of distance
Battling the vultures of society
Slaying the demons of darkness
Suddenly the moon wakes up from it's slumber
And I whisper to the moon
Tonight is the night of our reunion
But out of jealousy the moon rages and burns
And me being the madman
With it's embers
Light up my cigarette
And whistle to your land
