The Isolation. Poem by Gangadharan nair Pulingat..

The Isolation.

Sense of self he forgot
Walks here and there in street
Smiles a little, eats in odd times
The poor aged man, process of aging
His grey hair, broken teeth, wrinkled face
The helpless expressions, horrible thoughts
Confronting the ageism a worldwide problem
As human beings, community friendship vital
The isolation of self in the middle of crowd
Loneliness in aged ones a terrible thing
There it require the act of philanthropists
To ease the burden of ageism and take them along
It is the real love and justice to aged ones.

It's true. We should work for the aged who are homeless and helpless.
