The Insignificant Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

The Insignificant

Rating: 5.0

Big things often
emerge from small
and inconspicuous things.

We also notice this
in everyday life when
we marvel at people
who seem insignificant
in the eyes of some,
who even have to put
up with derogatory remarks.

Then precisely these
women and men or
even children, who
leave a bad impression
in all their gestures,
facial expressions,
suddenly gain respect.

Very often we misjudge
and do not honor others.

In our egoistic attitudes
the talents of the poor are
hardly recognized or they
are not respected.

You are so right, the talents of the poor are often neglected, but nice to see achievements made and recognised.
