The Hurt Of Silence Poem by guy lipmore

The Hurt Of Silence

Conversation breaks down,
So begins the ‘silent sound’.
The quietness only broken,
By sharp words spoken.

Strong words said,
Frustration further fed.
Up higher goes the ‘wall’,
Pride, not willing to compromise at all.
Nothing said for hours,
Situation just sours.

Tension reaches such,
First ’thaw’ comes through a touch.
Bad feelings subsides,
Relief sighs.........
