The Finish Line Poem by Benjamin Debrah

The Finish Line

If you cross, you win
It does not matter how you begin
It is how you end
Keep it in mind friend

Many could not cross
They fell and did not get up
They let the cold turn them into frost
Their will died out: they gave up

The road to the line is not a race
It is a test
It is not a chase
It is not who will finish first

It is a test to find out who will endure
- -who will move on after the flaw
It is for those who are calm in the midst of the storm
- -who will not allow the cold kill their warmth

The line was commissioned by a genius
It was designed by devotion
The contractor's name is focus
The construction equipment is determination

If you cross the line, you win
It does not matter how you begin
What matters is how you end
Keep this in mind friend

It does not matter how you begin, It is how you end. A great lesson learnt from this poem.
