'' The Earth Is Once Again Whole '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' The Earth Is Once Again Whole ''

Where we humans berth,
Wherever we go,
You can guarantee mass destruction,
We're destroying the Earth,
Fast not slow,
That's fact it's not my deduction.

We talk of peace,
While building more arms,
More destructive than what's went before,
Will we never cease?
It should ring alarms,
But the warnings we choose to ignore.

On our fragile terrene,
We take without giving,
As our finite resources run low
We're a murderous machine,
Who seem to hate living?
The reason? There's none of us know.

Murdering each day,
We love blood and gore,
Any reason we'll start a dispute,
It's for death we bay,
As we kill even more,
Intelligent somehow does not compute.

The animals are ours,
Let's do as we please,
The human is far more advanced,
We have the powers,
Yet we're the disease,
Nobody but us gets a chance.

But we went too far,
Our arrogance backfired,
Advanced weaponry we could not control,
Atoms meant for a star,
Means we've now expired,

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
At least fifty nuclear warheads have gone missing some of which they know are at this moment deteriorating at the bottom of our oceans, fully armed, they will cause chaos if not when they explode, are we really that bad as a species we need weaponry that will destroy everything alive? I think not.
