The Drums Of War. Poem by Tony Adah

The Drums Of War.

Rating: 4.0

The sound of war
Is the sound of death
War ruins the world and war ruins man
The ambience of creativity
Is killed and buried in battlefields.

The seed of war lies dormant
In the aftermath of one war
And war is to be dreaded
Equally as we dread dead.

A thoughtful write. So beautifully put, the horror of war. Great expression.
