The Devil Does Bargain Poem by Ebubechi Ireke

The Devil Does Bargain

Rating: 5.0

The Devil does Bargain,
But it may not be to your good,
'But it's better than nothing'
He argues.
'You have no choice'
He insists,
'Maybe
It's not that bad'
You think,
Thus a bargain has been struck.

The Devil does Bargain

Thrusting you down,
Leaving you screaming,
Between the waters,
Full of Sharks,
Hungry for you and
Thorns above you,
To choke you,
If you raise your self.
With a rope seeming not strong.
'At least, '
He argues
'You aren't dead yet, '
With tears in your eyes,
You can't argue less,
Somehow,
It's your truth,
It's a bargain.

The Devil actually does Bargain
