your love is an ocean
and I am lost in it's current.
I swim and I swim.
lost in its depth.
the thought of pruned lips
sinking further and further.
just when I think that I am close
to the light, I am pulled back down
by your eyes.
Time but an eternity of promise.
Quickly fleeting.
the more I fight, the tougher the current becomes.
the more that I realize that I am drowning.
the more at peace I become.
swept away without a single trace.
your love, a strong wave lost in the middle
of the sea. and me.
I am but a spec lost in what some call the deep.
but they do not know you, like I know you.
Here, I'll forever reside.
where I sink, and I sink, deeper into an eternity
where there is nothing but you and I
