We, the audience, should not forget the dancer, because the dancer works very hard to achieve excellence. However, I do agree that the dancer should be humble, put the ego down, and become the dance- - Concentrating on the dance itself, and not on winning accolades for herself or himself. A very good poem which makes a very good point!

How true! I noticed when practicing Yoga and Meditation and forgot about my ego I was able to make the Yoga moves in a more flowing way. By the way beautiful photography and on point too!
