The Busy Road Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

The Busy Road

Rating: 5.0

One end of the busy road
street dogs playing in group
barking at each other
myself in a morning walk
one dog crossed the road
some tried to follow
vehicles plying on the road
the sight and sound
make them scared
to cross the road....
no thinking power
like human beings
when to cross the road
that's why dogs killed on the road!
it was a pitiable sight
to imagine their fear
in crossing a busy road
amidst heavy traffic
how lucky we are
being born as humans
for embarking the journey.

Street plays in busy track in group and many witness its vow from various corners. Shyness and sound both break emotion again and again to think on playing of vehicles on road. Crossing a road safely matters a lot in busy street. Human life's journey is very amazing along with this. This is entirely a finely drafted and shared poem...10

Nice poem sir...It is our general habit to complain God that we don't have this or that, life could have been much better but after looking at other creatures, we realize that how lucky we are as humans....beautifully expressed sir

Very nice poem. To me, it discusses the ability of the human mind to think and process things in a way that animals cannot and the advantages of doing so. Nicely done.
