Teen Hormones & Gratification

In twelfth grade and up we soar,
Through bodies changing, we explore,
Hormones dance, emotions roar,
Not seeking futures, but now's allure.

With reckless hearts, we chase delight,
In passion's flames, our souls ignite,
Consequences hide from sight,
As present joys consume the night.

Yet in this haze, we learn to grow,
Navigating highs and lows,
Embracing all that life bestows,
Onward through the dark we glow,
It ends in supernova, then explode.
