What kind of profession is this?
students join the class after paying the fees
it made me feel about their future
"what could it be "I wasn't sure
I cared for no tomorrow
and allowed
the time to be honestly passed on
with results unknown
I have heard the words from the people
who spoke highly about my struggle!
and openly appreciated the dedication
towards the cause of an education
Neither I looked back
nor staked any claim
for the contribution
I make a hearty confession
Teachers contribution is of great applause
There is no let-up or pause
In their effort to work for students growth
Teaching is really a matter of good faith
"Henna Siraj, Henna Siraj" the name sounded my ears
"The appreciation letter goes to" my ears refused to believe
I burst into tears and gazed at the stage
it was really an occasion inked with the golden page
"God is with you always" My mom gave me solace
it brought me immense joy and happiness on the face
I never desired or participated in any race
it was really a grace by an almighty, the great Allah
