Sweets Poem by Mahlubandile Phillips

Sweets

Damn she loves them so much
One bag and she's out of touch
She dances show's her worst behavior
Those I bring her everyday
She loved the taste don't matter the shape
flavour she savours everybag

So much like a child your energy
high eventually I loved seeing you like that
I brought them each time I knew you were around

Sometimes I shove them in your bag of Nike
Because silly me couldn't take your smile
I wonder when you opened it who thought was behind these

You never spoke deep down you knew it's me
I was ambarrsed around you so I told you the
truth

The future so bright, trust was created in those
sweets, a boy rushing stores for more
Still with or without those damn sweets you loved me inspired me today I'm proud in sweets
I dreamed of a friend now here you are you're more than I deserve take this bag of sweets
and rule of our world
