Sunny And Wintering Poem by Amy Marie

Sunny And Wintering

I know a sunny swing –
Which in the dawn light rocks me –
Singing dreams my yard drench –
Oh Enamoring Flight!

I know a wintering swing –
Which blocks me from spring light –
Man-made moons around me ring –
The woods chide all that is bright!

Sunny Swing at noon gives birth –
To charming solitude resembling June.
When such a swing populates Nature's earth –
Age before long will swoon!

I love the 1st stanza! ...and can picture is so well in my head. My favorite lines: 'Man- made moons around me ring- The woods chide all that is bright! '...I can envision you swinging as the sun sets, with lights flicking turning on around you, and the darkness of the woods over-taking you. Very cool.
