When the world seems dark and cold,
And my heart is filled with fear,
I remember that You hold
The future in Your hand.

When my life is filled with pain,
And I cannot find the way,
I remember that You reign
And You will make things right.

When I feel like I am all alone,
And I cannot see a friend,
I remember that You are throned
And You will never leave me.

In the midst of all my fears,
I will trust in You, my Lord,
For I know that You are near
And You are still my God.

My God, my Father, my Friend,
I will cling to You each day,
For I know that You will mend
The broken pieces of my life.

In the midst of all my pain,
I will praise Your holy name,
For I know that You are still God
And You will never change.
