Standing In The Mud Poem by Madrason .

Standing In The Mud

If we see each other too much
we will devour our guts
we'll eat each others hunger
after Gods in our trails entrails
Morpheus in his eagerness
needle in a hungry skin
forget all natural sin
this is aching far beyond
the lust for freshness
bloodthirsty carnivores we are
rejuvenating our dried out brains
while friend or enemy
unto me it ‘s all the same
if only left some sense of shame
to return to earth and to bleed,
and hold your ground with steady feet. M
