Special Forces Poem by Christan Bowen

Special Forces

guardian of the flesh
winner of many contests
the deffest most surrounding sound
is when an angels heart will pound
many towns ablaze
while the man he lives in haze
should we regulate militarily
should we move very warily

every angle beaten back
and the horses carry packs
sacks of food
for the local
who have become
very vocal
a comrade in arms
fell to a harm
her heart was charmed
but so alarmed
what if he dies
should I try
to raise kids
to make bids
without him

a mom now washes dishes, and wishes
that the world was not so vicious
special forces he was
fighting them off is what he does
now hes gone and nobody bothers
to duly note, he was a father
could it be the children play
because they know
that come someday
we can all regather in heaven and
we will take a stand
for the common man
who had no food
and never was in the mood
to take the papers thay they wrote
he knew the deal was done and broke
