Soul Affections Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Soul Affections

Rating: 5.0

There are some
Special soul affections
Cannot name them
For fear of pretension

They are beyond the
Mundane songs
Or the rhymes
And rhythm of throngs

The kind of love
That Dew has for the flowers
Or The one
That binds
Moon to the stars

The eternal quest
Takes rives to the sea
Admiration of sky for Earth
Horizons are made of these

There is a world
Beyond the words
No barriers of
Languages hurt

For too much spoken
Or too less said
Oftentimes causes
All the unrest

So let's move on
To that quite town
Where hearts can speak
Lips make no sound
